Speaking during Kenya Music Festival State Concert in Nakuru, the commander in chief of the armed forces left everyone in stitches when he pronounced the words Jamaica and Jah Love.

"Indeed over the last week, in the course of my State visit to the Republic of Jamaica. Jah Love,” he said leaving everyone in stitches.

In Nakuru, Uhuru asked Governors to accept the funds allocated to the county government to end the Division of Revenue Stalemate.

During his trip to Jamaica, Uhuru met Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness.

The two leaders promised to cement the cordial ties between Kenya and Jamaica. While there, Uhuru attended the 57th Independence Day Celebrations.

He also signed a series of agreements with the host Leader. Uhuru also requested the Jamaican government to consider the issue of direct flights to Kenya to ease trade. The commander in chief of the armed forces said that the flights will boost trade between the two nations.

“Our national carrier now has scheduled direct flights from Nairobi to New York, but we would like to see flights flying from the East Coast to the West Coast of Africa and directly to Jamaica and through Jamaica to the rest of the Caribbean as a true way of deepening our partnership,” President Uhuru said.
