More than 50 years ago, Neil Armstrong made history after becoming the first man to land on the moon from Earth.
Armstrong took different miniature flags including American and Kenyan flags to the moon during the trip.
The astronaut flew to the moon using the Apollo 11 Eagle.
Before he made the trip, it was believed that no one could come back after stepping on the surface of the moon but that was not the case.
Armstrong was later joined by Buzz Aldrin who landed on the moon about 19 minutes afterwards.

In September 1974, Neil Armstrong narrated his experience on the moon, saying he was a bit nervous over the same. He, however, said that he was delighted to be the first man to land in space. He also said that the place was pleasant and he admired staying there.
“I found it most pleasant, and I even preferred it to the gravity of Earth. It gave me a light floating sensation, but I was able to maintain equilibrium. We had no tendency to lose balance; we had just enough weight to stand naturally," he said as quoted by Daily Nation.
