Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has told off Siaya Senator James Orengo after he weighed in on his alleged torture and deportation.
Speaking during the Punchline programme aired on K24 TV on Sunday, Orengo noted that the National Super Alliance (NASA) didn't abandon Miguna, adding that other leaders in the country including ODM leader Raila Odinga were once exiled.
Miguna, who has been denied entry into the country after he participated in Raila's mock swearing-in ceremony argued that the leaders may have been exiled but their houses were not vandalised by police, nor were they forced out of the country.
"Mr. @orengo_james: Stop your lies. @makaumutua, Kiraitu Murungi, @RailaOdinga, Koigi Wamwere and you never, ever had your houses destroyed, holes punched into your passports, you were never detained without trial, sedated and FORCED out of Kenya then denied re-entry," said Miguna Miguna.
The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant further told off Orengo after he opined that Miguna should toughen up following the cancellation of his visa.
In his defense, Miguna claimed that unlike Orengo whose visa was cancelled by a foreign country, his was cancelled by his own country.
"You cannot compare cancellation of a visa by a foreign government to the destruction of my house, detention without trial, torture, forceful exile and refusal to allow me to return to Kenya. @orengo_james: today, it's me; tomorrow it might be you, your wife or child. Shame on you!" said Miguna.
Miguna has, however, vowed not to give up on his quest to return to Kenya despite being denied re-entry into the country twice.
