Tanzanian Bongo star Diamond Platnumz was forced to walk for more than five minutes after fans blocked his car when he tried to leave Uhuru Stadium, Tanzania.
Diamond was among key artistes who were invited to perform at the Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki Utamaduni Festival (JAMAFEST) 2019 which kicked off on September 18. The show will conclude on September 28.
Soon after the singer had given what he is best known for, an electrifying performance.
Joyous fans who wanted to spend more time with their hero in music blocked his car, forcing the singer to walk for more than five minutes as he tried to greet the fans.
In a video doing rounds on social media after it was first shared by Rick Media TZ on Monday, the singer's security personnel had to be extra keen and somehow hard on some fans as a way of creating space for the 'Kanyaga' hitmaker to leave the field.
The loyal fans kept on singing praise songs for Diamond all the way from the stadium.
However, a section of the fans had earlier left the singer in great shock when they started praising Harmonize, who has become Diamond's competitor in music after his exit from Wasafi Records.
