Several Cabinet Secretaries will be sent home soon by President Uhuru Kenyatta as he moves to reshuffle his cabinet, sources have revealed.
Uhuru is expected to crack the whip and show the door all the CSs who are not performing or have been dodged in corruption scandals.
According to sources who spoke to the Standard, the axe will fall in a week's time.
Other sources said Kenyatta is expected to 'make a major move' though the details of all those to be affected remains unknown as secrecy has become Uhuru's modus operandi.
The president and his litany of advisors are said to be panicking over his legacy pegged on the Big Four Agenda as time is moving and things are being slowed down by ineffective ministers or corruption in their ministries.
Our source at statehouse said 'that is the feeling but just wait'.
"That is the feeling here that people will be shown the door. But I have no details as the boss (President Kenyatta) is these days making the ddecisions without leaks. Mtajua tu boss," he said.
