This is after the opposition outfit on Wednesday postponed its nomination exercise from August 31 to September 7, 2019 over what was termed as lack of security.

"This has been occasioned by lack of provision of Security by the National Police Service citing commitment to the ongoing national census exercise," said Judith Pareno, the ODM National Elections Board (NEB) chairperson.

Miguna said the Raila-led party was not serious in its pursuit for power since it was still dependent on the help of the government which allegedly killed and tortured its supporters during the 2017 polls.

"A political party that cannot conduct its own nomination exercise without the "help" of state security agents who brutalized, tortured, maimed and killed thousands of its supporters just a few months ago cannot purport to be ready to govern. ODM and Raila Odinga are jokers," he tweeted on Thursday.

Miguna also claimed ODM nominations will be manipulated since Raila was out to impose a 'sycophant' after her daughter was 'rejected' by Kibra residents.

"There is no exercise The People's Con-Man Raila Odinga can conduct democratically, fairly or credibly. He orchestrated the BURNING of Ken Okoth to degrade his legacy. Kibra people rejected his daughter Rosemary Akeyo. Now, he is busy trying to find a sycophant to impose," the outspoken lawyer added.
