Jackline Mwende Chalia enters the compound where her sister was killed wailing loudly.
After composing herself she is able to face the media and speak about her sister Mariam Ann Chalia aged 19 years who was killed by her boyfriend who in turn hanged himself.
Mwende said that their mother has had a tendency of giving out her late sister to men for sex and in turn earn money.
"Since she was in class six my mom would give her to men and get away with it. Anytime we tried to talk to her she would quarrel with us and tell us we won't teach her how to raise her daughter," said Mwende.
Mwende who found it hard to control her tears said that just a day to her demise, her late sister had written to her older brother asking him to tell their mother to desist from introducing her to different men daily.
"She asked us to live in peace stating that she didn't leave in bad faith and our mother should be warned against giving her numbers of men to call," she Mwende.
Ann Chalia who was a beneficiary of MIKATO sponsorship was headed to the states to study in California come next year.
However, she didn't live to see that day as her blossoming life was cut short by the hands of the man she lived with identified as Stephen Mumo.
The decomposing bodies of Mariam and her lover were found in a rented house in Nguluni area in Matungulu sub-county thanks to the foul smell and countless flies hovering around the door.
