The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH)
It is one of the biggest hospitals in the country that serves patients in the North Rift region, parts of Western Kenya as well as Uganda and even South Sudan. People from different parts of the country are referred to this facility and most of them visit the town for the first time. MTRH, as it is popularly referred to, is located along Nandi Road in Eldoret town, 310 kilometres Northwest of Nairobi.

Job seekers and those hunting for licenses and business permits are the frequent visitors to this place. Uasin Gishu County Government Offices are located along Uganda Road within the town's Central Busines District (CBD).
Mainstage
The biggest headache you may encounter in a town you are visiting for the first time is locating the stage. Eldoret's main stage is just within the town’s CBD.
Huduma centre
The inception of Huduma centre services by the Ministry of Devolution and Planning have helped in bringing services closer to the people. People from different villages in Uasin Gishu visit the town to get the services they want from this centre. Uasin Gishu’s Huduma centre is located near the post office Post Office along the Eldoret-Kitale road.
