Do you ever think of a safe Nairobi without crime activities?
Well, Nairobi governor Mike Sonko is on record celebrating the killing of suspected gangsters in Nairobi.
After DCI officers shot dead a man suspected to have been part of a gang that was terrorising people in Eastlands, the governor went to his Facebook page to celebrate the death.
He also offered a Sh500,000 token to the officers who killed the suspect.
Here is what he said:
"On 8th November at 4.51am, I posted the attached video and told these burgers terrorising Nairobians that their days were numbered. On 10th of November, while attending a fundraising in Matopeni Kayole, of a Nairobian HARRISON KINYANJUI KARANJA who had been shot and seriously injured, we gave a 7 days notice to any member of the armed gang to surrender all their guns and stop terrorising innocent Nairobians with immediate effect. Some have complied but for those who thought it was a joke and were caught on CCTV footage robbing traders at gun point, this is the good price they got.

YOU HAVE A REWARD OF 500K from me and I urge you to continue with the GOOD JOB of protecting all innocent hard working Nairobians wherever they are...There's is no going back in the fight against armed crime in the city and its environs.
