Hellen Kwamboka, the policewoman who was found in her house at Umoja murdered, painfully screamed on Thursday night before she went quiet.
Neighbours said they heard a disturbing scream from the cop and rushed to her house which is on the fifth floor.
Upon reaching there, the distress calls had faded away and the neighbours decided to go back to their houses.
Unknown to them, Kwamboka was being killed and the screams might have been her last before life was plucked from her.
According to eDaily, the police officer attached to the Parliament was known to have a hostile ‘come we stay’ union with her boyfriend.
The boyfriend is said to have visited her on the night of the murder and is currently on the run.
Police suspect the boyfriend killed her.
The news site talked to Kwamboka’s mum who said she knew the suspect and was at one point living with the deceased in her house before she kicked him out.
When detectives forced their way into Kwamboka’s house, they found her body lying in bed.
The body was facing down with deep cuts in her head. Blood had splashed to the walls.
Buruburu police commander said investigations into the murder have been launched.
