Kenyans on social media on Wednesday criticised popular gospel musician Ringtone after he publicly expressed his support for Pastor James Ng'ang'a of the Neno Evangelism Church.
According to Ringtone, the controversial pastor is among those who were doing what he termed as great work in the Kingdom of God.
"Am totally celebrating and respect this my spiritual fathers APOSTLE NGANGA AND KIUNA and am recommended the great work them do for the kingdom of God," Ringtone wrote on his Instagram page.
A good number of netizens led by popular Kenyan radio presenter Jalang'o took to the comment section where they mocked the singer by claiming that he had taken after Pastor Ng'ang'a's behaviour.
Some of the social media users were nonetheless angered by Ringtone's sentiment explaining that it was not appropriate for such a public figure like him to mislead Kenyans.
Pastor Ng'ang'a has attracted controversy in the recent days after he was captured on camera harassing women and men at his church.
Here are some of the reactions.
