Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has appealed to political leaders to shun debate on 2022 politics and instead focus on development agenda.
Speaking at Kelelwa in Rongai, Nakuru County, during the burial of his aunt Eunice Jeptum on Saturday, Gideon said leaders should focus on addressing important issues first for the country to move forward.
He further said that leaders should focus on delivering services and fulfilling their 2017 pledges to the electorates.
The Kanu chairman said his party will support President Uhuru Kenyatta on his move to achieve the Big Four Agenda.
“You have heard, we have a journey ahead of us. But wait, let’s work to deliver the promises we made to the people.”
“For now, our focus is on supporting the President’s Big Four Agenda, we have agreed to that,” said Gideon as quoted by standardmedia.co.ke.
Gideon said his focus at the moment is to ensure the country moves forward by ensuring that he works together with several leaders in different parts of the country.
He said no one should be worried of the unity he has forged with other leaders but warned that some will be shocked when the time comes.
“It is through unity and meeting other leaders from across the country that we will be able to assist Kenyans,” he added.
