For instance, those of us who went through the 8-4-4 system, had at least eight good years to spend with the primary school teacher, that is if you were bright enough not to repeat any class.

As such, the contribution that these teachers make in our lives can never be ignored. This is why even after the eight years, majority, if not all of us, will always have fond and nostalgic memories about the primary school life no matter which school you attended.

One of the most common memories that many of us can relate to, is the kind of teachers that taught us, with many, seemingly sharing a common denominator.

Below we focus on three types of primary school teachers whom you may have encountered with at one stage or another and that many seemingly loved to hate.

1. Prophets

Out of a 35-minute lesson, this type of teacher would spend approximately 25 minutes predicting about your respective futures mostly based on your exam performances.

And as you can guess right, poor performers would receive much of the bashing while constantly being reminded of the 'misery' and 'suffering' that awaited them ahead and vice versa would apply for the bright ones. Many have, however, proved this in later lives not to be true.

2. Hawks

These teachers seemed to possess some form of supernatural powers that enabled them to be all-time-knowing about anything and everything. They were good interrogators and you could hardly lie to them on anything and go uncaught.

In fact, you would rather tell them the truth and run away than lie and be caught because the consequences were unfathomable.

3. Sadists

They were good at keeping dates when they had caught you in the wrong and brutally punished you while blatantly choosing to disregard anything good attributable to you no matter how big it was.

They seemed to cherish 'evil' than 'good' as the only time they would seem to enjoy their profession was when they were punishing and predicting doom to you.
