Days before his demise, Mutula had hinted at releasing information that would have caused a storm in the nation.

Speaking to a Standard group reporter, Mutula claimed that he was going to spill beans on one of the mega scandals that rocked the nation.

However, he did not live to see the day he had promised to release the damaging dossier.

Mutula told the reporter that the information he was going to release would have made the media house burnt.

“I have information that if I disclose to you Monday, your papers will be burnt the next minute."

Several years down the line, it remains unclear what Mutula wanted to tell the nation before his demise. Mutula was a very secretive man.

Several leaders including former Attorney General Amos Wako said that it was hard to understand the late minister.

Wako said that Mutula used to narrate stories about his family but he was a man with many faces.

An inquest into his death is yet to bear fruits, if information from the family is anything to go by.
