The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has shared the amount in billions recovered from corruption networks.
This revelation comes hours after the anti-graft agency arrested Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko over corruption-related cases.
Through a tweet on Friday evening, EACC said it has so far recovered properties worth billions which had been acquired through corruption deals.
The agency also said it had thwarted deals worth Sh135.7 billion by reigning in on corruption networks.
"@EACCKenya has recovered public Assets acquired through corruption worth Kshs. 22.6 Billion and averted loss of Kshs.135.7 Billion through disruption of corruption networks," read a tweet from EACC.
The agency went further and listed some of the properties it had recovered, including a University of Nairobi piece of land.
"Assets recovered by @EACCKenya include 850 Ha of KALRO in Naivasha valued 8.67B, 4.9 acres of UoN land valued at Kshs. 2B, Judiciary Land in Kisumu valued at Kshs. 830M, Uhuru Gardens in Mombasa, valued at Kshs. 620M, Taifa Park in Kisumu worth Kshs. 370M among other recoveries," they added.
The latest politician to be arrested by EACC is Governor Sonko who was arrested on his way to Mombasa on Friday.

His arrest order was issued by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji, who ordered for the immediate arrest of Sonko and other Nairobi County officials over the loss of Sh357m.
