Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua is among the respected leaders in Ukambani. He is a man who has made people believe in their dreams, vision, and determination.
Since taking over power as the Machakos county boss in 2013, Mutua has done a lot to Machakos people that will make him be remembered for long.
He has proved wrong many who opposed and doubted his ability and demonstrated that he was the right man to change Machakos County and make it admirable.
As Machakos governor, Mutua has initiated many development projects in the county. This has made the county admirable by many people including investors from different parts of the country.
Good roads, good hospitals, and schools are among the few projects that the Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader has done in the county. This has made Machakos be that comparable with big cities in the country.
Also, Mutua has drilled boreholes and a water pan in every village in Machakos to counter the shortage of water in the county. People now enjoy drinking clean water, factories and industries also use them in development purposes. Now Machakos is a place that has no crisis of water as it has been known for many years.
The governor who is finalizing his second term in office, his legacy will be remembered for long as it’s his administration that has changed Machakos County.
