Responding to the DP's tweet that accused Tuju of taking part in formulating political strategies for the opposition, Kuria in a post on his Facebook page noted that Jubilee party had become irredeemably bankrupt after the handshake.

He argued that the political situation emanating from the handshake deal made the country to have no choice but to get into bankruptcy of chapter 11 of the constitution.

Kuria pointed out that Tuju was just a victim who had been appointed to deliver the message of the new changes in the party.

"Dear my good friend Deputy President William Ruto. Jubilee went into political bankruptcy on the 9th of March 2018. The nature and configuration of Kenya's politics forced us into Article 11 Bankruptcy," reads part of the post

"Raphael Tuju is only a Receiver-Manager. Don't attack the messenger please," he added.

In a tweet whose screenshots had been shared by the legislator, Ruto had blamed Tuju's move to secretly work for the opposition, on too much democracy existing in Jubilee.

Chapter 11 of the Consitution recognizes cultural diversity as the foundation of the nation and seeks to promote it to its letter and spirit.
