Nancy Kipchumba was shot dead at the Chesoi tallying center on August 8 where four others were injured, when police opened fire on former Marakwet East MP Linah Kilimo’s car.
The MP escaped unhurt.
Kilimo vied for the Marakwet East MP as an independent but lost to Bowen Kangogo.
IPOA has also questioned Kilimo over the death of the girl.
“The girl was innocent and should not have lost her life in such a careless way,” Kilimo said.
Police shooting came after Kilimo rejected the IEBC results that declared here rival Kangogo as the winner.
According to the former MP, the shooting was deliberate to disrupt vote counting.
“I wrote a statement over the shooting of innocent people but so far the officers involved are still free,” she added.
IPOA took the officers’ guns for analysis.
