Eight people including children have been rescued after a 3-storey building collapsed  in Kapsabet town.

According to witnesses, tens of people are feared trapped in the building.

The building was under construction with 60 workers at site at the site when it collapsed .

The eight who were rescued have been taken to Kapsabet referral hospital for treating since they suffered fractures and bruises.
