State House Digital Innovation Secretary Dennis Itumbi has threatened to sue a Mombasa based blogger, who also works with Governor Hassan Joho.
In a series of tweets on Saturday, Duncan Makori questioned the whereabouts of journalist Bogonko Bosire, the founder of Jackal News, the first know digital website in Kenya.
Mr Bosire went missing shortly after 2013 polls and until now, his disappearance remains a mystery that has never been resolved by the DCI, despite the sophisticated tracking equipment and fairly trained sleuths.
At that time, Mr Bosire worked closely with Jubilee administration and was a close friend of Mr Dennis Itumbi, his fellow comrade and colleague.
Mr Makori demanded to know the whereabouts of Bosire, accusing Mr Itumbi of having a lot of information over the disappearance.
"No sooner had Bogonko Bosire disappeared from State House than @OleItumbi appeared in the same place. Itumbi the prime suspect has never bothered to explain leave alone denying the allegation. @CapitalFMKenya#WhereIsBogonkoBosire," he wrote.
But in a rejoinder, Itumbi distanced himself from the disappearance and demanded that Mr Makori prove the allegations or delete the tweet.
But since then, he has threatened to move to court, accusing Mr Makori of spreading falsehoods through social media.
"I am the Prime Suspect in @bogonkobosire disappearance? Ok. I will ask my lawyers to get in touch with you, for the sake of my friend Bogonko.
"I will give you a platform in court to tell us more. Responsible use of social media is very crucial especially in a matter such as this," he said.
The youthful blogger has however vowed to take Mr Itumbi head-on, adding that he's not afraid to meet him in court.
"Yesterday I asked @OleItumbi to tell us whether he killed Bogonko Bosire or not. Instead or clarifying, he is busy threatening me with court. We are not cowards bwana Itumbi; opposition politics has taught us not to. Bring it on!" he said.
