David Murathe claimed that it is only in the United States that a leader is allowed to serve for two terms only.
Speaking in an interview at K24 TV on Sunday, Murathe said that in Kenya , anything can happen having that it copied the two term limit from the United States.
The former Jubilee Vice-chair went on giving example of China, where even though they had also set a two term limit, they changed the rule to allow Xi continue extend his two term limit because he was doing a good job.
"It is only in America where they have two terms. In China they had term limits but they removed it after Xi did a good job," Murathe said.
On Uhuru becoming the next Prime Minister, Murathe said in Sagana meeting which was held a few months ago, Uhuru said that he does not want to become the Prime Minister.
"The President said it in Sagana in jest. He does not want to become the Prime Minister," said Murathe.
The politics on who will be the next Prime Minister if the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report is implemented has been gaining momentum day by day.
