Uasin Gishu Women Representative Gladys Boss Shollei and Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino on Sunday met Kenyan students pursuing various professional careers in Hungary.
The legislators were on an official visit to Budapest, Hungary alongside the National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi.
Taking to Twitter handle, the National Assembly of Kenya stated that the two vibrant Members of Parliament (MPs) snagged with the students extensively on matters education as far as their scholarship programs are also concerned.
"Hon.Gladys Shollei and Hon. Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino engageD Kenyan students in Hungary on the sidelines of SpeakerJustin Muturi delegation's official visit to Hungary. They are part of the over 300 students under a scholarship from the government of Hungary," National Assembly Kenya confirmed.
The students the MPs met are part of the Hungarian Government scholarship to the bright Kenyan Students who have had ambitions of pursuing their professions of choice abroad.
Babu Owino who is a widely decorated comrade having served as the longest SONU chair that eventually propelled him to the National Assembly is a spectacular leader with Comrades interest vested on his heart.
The leaders accompanied Speaker Muturi to Budapest as Kenya aims to extend the bilateral relations between the two countries for the mutual benefit of the citizens.
