In a video doing rounds on social media, the unnamed lawmaker was referring to xenophobic remarks made by Starehe MP Charles Njagua, as remarks that should not make the whole Tanzanian Parliament spend the session talking about him and them.

He said what Hon. Njagua said was to be reversed by one person and not the whole Parliament, adding that he was ready to lead Tanzanians in kicking out Kenyans from their nation.

"It was one MP (Starehe MP Charles Njagua) who made the remarks and we want to waste our time and the whole session discussing him and yet one MP can respond and attend to the matter. On Monday I will lead in beating up all Kenyans doing business in Tanzania and deport them back to their county, Mr. Speaker, spending the session to discuss the matter is a sign of cowardice. (Yule ni mbunge mmoja leo tunatumia time ya bunge zima kumjadili akam nchi wakati majibu yanaweza yakatolewa na sisi na mbunge mmoja, na mkutano jumatatu, na mimi nitatoa amri Wakenya wanao fanya kazi hapa tutawapiga warudi kwao Kenya jambo hilo litakua limekwisha mheshimiwa Spika. Spika tusitumie kauli ya bunge zima kujadili vitu vya namna hii, huu ni uoga, wabunge ni waoga, taifa litateketea na mtu mmoja)," said the MP

The Speaker of the Tanzanian Parliament was heard ordering the MP to sit down.

Njagua was on Wednesday arrested for the remarks where he said he was to lead in deporting foreigners living in Kenya.

“We are not talking about six Chinese nationals. We are talking of hundreds of foreigners who work here. I give the government 24 hours to evict these foreigners lest I, being a representative of this area, go into their shops, beat them and send them all the way to the airport,” he said
