Nyeri Town Member of Parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has lauded leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto ollowing their dramatic move to support the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) forums.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Wambugu said that the decision of the leaders is commendable. The lawmaker argued that he is impressed by the fact that the leaders realized that Kenyan is bigger than an individual.
Ngunjiri said that he is looking forward to hearing from the leaders what had barred from them joining the campaigns for the report from the onset.
"We want to thank TangaTanga MPs for agreeing to join in the BBI Forums. They even look very excited about it, as they make this press statement.I for one look forward to them joining us in Mombasa on Saturday - as I especially want to hear them explain to us what had stopped them from joining us in this journey before, and what has changed now," he posted.
Led by Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen, the leaders said that they are ready to attend all the meetings meant to discuss the report.
They noted that they will start with the meeting in Mombasa. They, however, expressed their discontentment over the leaders who are using the forums to politicize the report.
