Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege had earlier claimed that Wahome had plotted to have Uhuru heckled during the burial of former politics detainee Charles Rubia.

However, the outspoken leader on Monday rubbished the claims, terming them as propaganda being propagated by idlers. She said that she has no business engaging in such actions.

"There was this propaganda that during the burial of Rubia, I had arranged to have the president booed, these are idle people. Why would anyone want to arrange for the booing of his Excellency the president," she said.

She spoke in an interview with NTV, where she also pointed out that she has no fight with the president, making such claims as falsehood and baseless.

The MP, who has been attacking Uhuru lately, added that she also has no competition with Uhuru, adding that in any case, the president is welcome in Kandara at any time.

"I am not in any fight or competition with the president," she added.

The MP took the opportunity (Rubia's funeral) to fault the police for allegedly trampling on the freedom of expression by harassing those thought to be opposed to the president.
