Senior Citizen TV reporter Stephen Letoo’s rural home in Narok was attacked on Thursday night.
In a tweet on Friday morning, the journalist revealed the news to his fans.
"My Rural home in Enooretet village in Kilgoris constituency Narok county was last night attacked by unknown people," he said.
According to reports, his home was attacked due to his coverage on the Mau eviction saga.
Mr Letoo, who is a Maasai has been under online criticism with some people claiming that he has been feeding citizens with fake news.
Luckily, no one was injured during the attack.
At the time of the incident, Mr Letoo was in Nairobi on official duty.
His parents were at home but none was injured. He revealed that he was going back to his home to report to the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Narok County over the same issue.
The aim of the attack is still unclear. Various people had come out to attack him on social media, while others came out to defend him.
Lead by Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei, people came out to defend him over his coverage on the Mau eviction coverage.
