Migori Governor Okoth Obado will remain a guest of the state for at least another five more days, justice Jessie Lessit has ruled.
The Migori County boss had his case consolidated with that of Michael Oyamo and Caspal Obiero. The three will now face murder charges over the death of Sharon Otieno and her unborn baby.
Prosecution insisted that they are not ready to start the case following new issues that were brought by the defense team.
Female Lawyers association team has also made a formal application to be enjoined in the case, a reason why prosecution would further delay.
Mr. Obado and his co-accused would know the fate for their bail application on Friday when the court will release it's ruling.
Sharon Otieno, with whom Obado admitted having a relationship with, will be laid to rest on October 18th after the family reached the agreement.
