Diamond Platnumz on Wednesday was forced to part ways with money after his loyal fans proved his loyalty beyond doubts.
The 'Inama' hitmaker was from giving a press statement at Hyatt Regency Hotel Posta in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday over his coming Wasafi Festival 2019 that will be held in Dar es Salaam on November 9, when his motorcade was forced to stop abruptly after a fan showed up with a tearful face.
The singer had to part ways with at least Tsh460,000, which is equivalent to about Sh23,000 after an overwhelmed fan stopped his motorcade.
The fan, who identified himself as Diamond Platnumz Yanga, said he has been looking into the singer since 2010 and has never looked back.
"I will use this amount to buy few pieces of stuff for myself and my mother and invest the rest in my business, I sell beds," said the fan
Diamond ordered his personal assistants to take his fan's contacts, an indication he might consider helping the young man again
Meanwhile, Diamond reignited his 'enmity' with Ali Kiba when he invited the 'Mwana' hitmaker for the show during the same press briefing.
Hours after the Bongo Star had invited Ali Kiba, he took to Instagram where he threatened to expose Diamond for the wrongs he has been doing to him, implying he won't attend the show.
According to King Kiba, no one will be willing to attend Diamond's show once he releases exposes him.
