Migne has insisted that he has a contract in place, adding that he will honour the same despite the national team being bundled out of the January 2020 CHAN tournament by Tanzania on Sunday.

The Harambee Stars tactician said he will continue serving as the coach of the national team until his contract expires.

“The last thing I will do is to resign, I am under contract but I think it will be difficult to pay me if they need to pay it, I am a hard worker even in difficult times and I knew it will not be easy when I signed honour for Kenya,” Migne said as quoted by Citizen Digital.

Migne has fallen out of favour despite helping the team qualify for the African Cup of Nations competition in Egypt.

Kenyans feel it is high time the government tried new blood to make the team more competitive at the continental and international level.

The Tanzanian side proceeded to the next stage of the competition after beating Kenya 4-1 in post-match penalties following a barren draw.

The two sides also drew in Dar es Salaam last week when they took on each other forcing them to go for a penalty shootout, to determine who proceeds to the next stage.
