This alone can make your friend think that you ignored him, but clearly, you've got no time to respond immediately.
How: In WhatsApp Settings menu, move to Account, then to Privacy and finally to Read Receipts where you'll turn them off. Another way to dodge a bluetick is by leaving your phone on airplane mode then proceeding to read your preferred message. Before you turn the data back on, make sure you close the app.
2. Figure out your BFFs
WhatsApp is all about chatting with those whom we love. It bridges the distance between loved ones. With video calls and voice calls, WhatsApp is a huge technological achievement that moulds together relationships. With WhatsApp, you can make your own ranked list of your favourite friends.
How: in WhatsApp setting, move to Data and Storage usage, then head to your storage list, here you'll see a list of your most important friends together with groups. This would be ranked according to the data you've used communicating with them.
3. Get to know when your messages are read
There's no bitter feeling than the one you get when your messages are neglected. It hurts to the bone. To know if someone has read your message isn't rocket science, it's as easy as ABC.
How: On android, in group chat, hold down on the message you've sent then press info. It will display to whom the message has been delivered, who read the message and when. For iPhone, swipe left on your sent message and it will show you all the details.
