Although the details of the meeting remain scanty, Ndii has termed the meeting as a big let down from a man he dreamed would have ascended to power.

In what seems as a blossoming bond between the families of founding fathers Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, Raila said that he is pleased after hosting Pratt at his Capitol Hill Offices.

Raila said: "I was pleased to receive Madam Kristina Pratt Kenyatta at my office this morning."

Pratt is considered one of  Uhuru's political advisors. It remains unclear why Raila has been meeting people in Uhuru’s inner circle before 2022.  Ndii is among those who are not happy with the recent twist of events after the handshake.

Ndii took to social media and posted: “We have truly lost this one. What a letdown.”

It is speculated that Raila and Uhuru could form an alliance before 2022.
