In an interview on NTV Am Live on Monday, Manyora said recent occurrences indicate that all is not well in the ruling party.

He claimed Ruto’s supporters are not happy by the way things are being run in the country, and how the DP is being treated by the President especially after the handshake.

Prof Manyora said by the look of things, he suspects the Jubilee marriage could be soon coming to an end.

"I think the DP’s followers, even if Uhuru was to support him again, will never forgive him for what the DP has gone through," he tweeted.

The Prof noted that he longs for a day when the three top leaders in the country; President Kenyatta, his deputy, and ODM leader Raila Odinga will have a candid discussion on issues affecting the country.

Manyora said development and leadership go hand in hand, adding that it Kenya wants to develop, then the three must seat and discuss issues.

"I pray that at some point, when the dust has settled, I’ll see Uhuru, Raila and Ruto sitting together in the interest of this country," he opined.
