American preacher Micheal Job is alive, contrary to reports that he had passed away.
A section of websites in Kenya and Tanzania had earlier in the week reported that the preacher died after contracting pneumonia while in Kenya.
The American-based preacher and actor is also still in Kenya contrary to earlier reports that he had been deported.
Since landing in Kenya a few weeks ago, the preacher has created a buzz on social media and in blogs for his resemblance to Hollywood’s depiction of Jesus.
According to a post on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, the preacher is in a mission in Nakuru County under the Christ for all Nations ministry.
"Yesterday many children called on the name of Jesus and received Him as the Lord and Savior of their lives here in Kenya. Will you surrender your life to Jesus today? He loves you so much! With Christ For All Nations in Nakuru, Kenya," read part of his Facebook post.
According to Standard Digital, Michael Job is a resident of Orlando in Florida where he plays Jesus at the Holy Land Experience theme park, a Christian-based theme park that recreates the architecture and themes of the ancient city of Jerusalem.
Job is in Kenya to spread the gospel and has so far preached in many crusades in the country.
