Passaris has asked the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to investigate the allegations made by Sonko.

“Let us wait for the various arms of government to do their investigations. And I am asking the DCI, the EACC to please, don’t seat their enjoying the taxpayers’ money and not investigating allegations to do with public servants, allegations to do with leaders,” Esther Passaris stated on an interview with Citizen TV.

Kenyans have expressed mixed reactions in regard to the wrangles between the two leaders. The netizens have been divided with some believing that Passaris had indeed been wrongfully accused.

“That the Nairobi County Woman Rep Esther Passaris is a solid, tough and principled leader is no longer in doubt. Taking on Sonko and his weird ways of leadership sent a powerful message of her tenacity,” Royalty stated.

Another section of the cyber-citizens believed Passaris would have to work harder if she was to prove that Sonko had accused her falsely.

“The love and respect Sonko commands in Nairobi Ghettos makes cold shivers run down spines of powerful politicians who have to master mind and tame him early before its too late. Hon Esther Passaris will have to work overtime. The " woman " card has backfired,” Mutie BM twitted.

The drama between the two leaders begun on Madaraka day when Esther Passaris walked out on Mike ‘Sonko’.
