Through his Twiter handle, Collymore said that he was happy to be back at the same time thanking those who supported him.

“I am back. Thanks to everyone who supported me over the past 9 months especially the clinical team at @ULCH, my superb @SafaricomPLC team and of course my wife @WambuiKamiru,” reads the tweet.

On Monday, Collymore appeared before the parliamentary Committee on Communication, Information and Innovation regarding an inquiry into legislative and regulatory gaps affecting competition in the telecommunication sub-sector.

In October last year, Collymore took medical leave with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Sateesh Kamath and Strategy Director Joseph Ogutu taking charge of the company.
