This is after the Commission for University Education (CUE) released a report indicating massive anomalies in their awarding.

According to CUE's report, both the learning as well as the graduation process of the degrees is questionable.

The commission wants the process investigated further to establish whether they are valid or not at the end of the day.

JKUAT vice-principal Victoria Wambui, who spoke on Wednesday at the main campus, said the degrees were awarded in accordance with the regulations of learning in the country.

She dismissed claims that there were plans to revoke the degrees over the anomalies.

“All degrees of the university are meritoriously earned and no student is allowed to graduate without going through the due process regarding coursework, seminars, original research, external examination, and publications,” she said as quoted by Nation.

She further noted that some of the information doing rounds on media houses is not only biased but also baseless.

Wambui reminded the graduates not to panic because there are no plans to recall their certificates as claimed.
