The family of the slain Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen and his estranged wife Sarah Wairimu have finally reached a consensus on his burial date and site.

The billionaire will now be laid to rest on Monday in Nairobi following days of deliberations from both sides. 

Both parties signed an agreement on the burial ending a long debate that opened a Pandora's box of the hate-love relationship that existed between them.

Wairimu and Cohen’s sister Gabriele have reached an agreement to bury the deceased in accordance with the Jewish traditions. 

Under the agreement, the burial will be a private affair with family members being the only ones required at the site.  

Gabriella and Sarah will be among those who will attend the funeral as sister and wife in that order. The ceremony will follow the Jewish rites and will be conducted by community leaders. 

The deceased will be laid to rest at the Jewish Cemetery on Wangari Mathai Road at 2 pm on Monday 23/9/19.

The families have also asked the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and prison authorities to facilitate the entire process so that the deceased is accorded a befitting burial pending a probe into his death.
