Former Kitutu Masaba Member of Parliament Timothy Bosire has claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is a serious patriot.
According to Bosire, who was Uhuru's critic during the 2017 polls, the Head of State has dedicated his energy to serving Kenyans irrespective of how they voted during the last polls.
"I will have no option rather than to accept President Uhuru legibility. He agreed to shake hands with ODM party leader Raila Odinga for the sake of bringing unity and development across all corners of this country," he said.
The tough-talking politician maintained that the fruits of the historic handshake are seen adding that politicians should support Uhuru-Raila's unity.
He dismissed claims that Raila is committed to split the ruling Jubilee party ahead of the 2022 polls.
Bosire urged politicians to champion for development in their respective areas of jurisdiction.
"Raila-Uhuru's Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) should not be taken lightly since it is working. Kenyans must be brought together. A section of politicians opposed to the BBI will have no option rather than to support it," he added.
The ODM treasurer challenged elected leaders to prioritize development.
