This has created opportunity for devious persons to start conning unsuspecting job seekers using fake interviews, and registration/training fee.

Many people have fallen prey to this scam without knowing.  Here are ways to identify a potential job scam: 

1. You did not apply for the job

Primarily, whenever you receive a text inviting you for a job interview, you should ask yourself whether you applied for the particular job. 

If you did not apply for it, then it could be a scam, since most employers invite candidates for interviews based on applications sent to them.

2. You can’t find anything about the company online

Whenever you are invited for an interview, it is important to do some research and familiarise yourself with the said company.

If you can't find any information about the company online, then is a potential indicator that it could be a scam.

3. Too good to be true

When reviewing a job, and the perks seem too good to be true for you job level, please be careful as that could be a scam.

Most scammers use hefty perks, and limited requirements and skills to convince more people to apply for the job.
