A Jubilee MP insists that Raila Odinga is Kenya's special envoy to AU despite contrary claims.
In an interview on Tuesday at Citizen TV, Raila dismissed reports that he was working with government.
"I am not in government. I am not intending to be. It's only that I am trying to work closely with them to bring order," he said.
The former Prime Minister has meeting President Uhuru Kenyatta secretly and is said to have had a hand in certain govrtngovrtnm appointments.
And Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose says it's high time the government unveil Raila officially.
"He has security and he has been respresenting Kenya abroad. He is an envoy to AU and that is a fact.
"The government should just unveil him. We have seen his roles in South Sudan which could not be delegated to an ordinary Kenyan," he said.
At South Sudan, Raila was tasked to mediate a crisis and the two warring factions have since reconciled.
Recently, Raila was also accorded government treatment in Indian during his visit.
