Certain rules such as how to drive and stay safe during a rainy season and what to do in the event of a panic attack are never taught in these schools offering driving skills.
These schools should perhaps review their syllabus and incorporate sensitive rules like the abovementioned ones.
Just to mention a few, here are rules they don't teach in driving schools;
1. Park guided by your mirrors and windows
There are usually two rules for parking a car. For instance, when you want to park it perpendicularly, you are advised to stop after seeing the curb under the side mirror.
On the other hand, be sure to not scratch the hubcaps when parallel parking. Here, the caps will be visible in the side-view mirrors and therefore you won't be that much close to it.
2. Dry your brake pads after driving through a puddle
It is important you dry them since friction causes heat that in turn evaporates water from the brake pad. After driving on a big puddle, don't change the speed and don't cut your engine. Parch the brakes first by pressing the gas pedal and brake pedal for a few minutes.
3. Turn on the air conditions.
It is also among the rules most driving schools don't cover. Even if it is during cold seasons, it is so important to turn on the air conditions regularly for some minutes. If you don't do so, the coolant may seep out and the tubes will dry.
