Controversial Kenyan gospel singer Willy Paul on Saturday shared a photo of his gun on Instagram

Along the photo of the pistol, Willy Paul who is known for staging publicity stunts attached a caption that expressed his adoration for the firearm.

The type of the gun is a Ruger SR22  pistol. The gun which is also commonly refereed to as  SR22P is a compact semi-automatic pistol. SR22P is considered as one of the best guns in the market not just because of its sleek appearance but also because of its features. It has a 3.5-inch stainless steel barrel with a black anodized slide finish.

Willy Paul is among the highest earning singers in Kenya and therefore affording such an expensive firearm may not be hard.

The move to show off the firearm has, however, sparked mixed reactions among the netizens with many criticizing him. 

A section of those who took to the comment section claimed the move was inappropriate as he was a gospel artist.

Willy however deleted the photo of the gun from his Instagram account shortly after posting it.
