Police officers in Kajiado County on Sunday arrested three men whom they accused of engaging in homosexual acts.
The three were nabbed by police officers after two of them went to report their mate for failing to pay them.
According to police records quoted by K24, two of the suspects travelled all the way from the coastal town of Mombasa to Kajiado to engage in the affair which is considered a crime in the country.
The Mombasa-based suspect allegedly met the Kajiado gentleman on Facebook and they fast became acquainted. A date was arranged on Sunday but the Mombasa man aged 23, tagged along with a friend for the meeting.
On the said date, the two suspects went to thier date's house in Kajiado where police noted they negotiated and agreed on terms, after which they engaged in homosexual acts. However, after the act, the Kajiado man, 24, failed to honer part of his deal forcing the two men from Mombasa to report him to the Kajiado Police Station.
Police report indicate the incident was reported on Sunday at about 9pm.
The astonished law enforcers visited the Kajiado host's house and arrested the trio. They were later taken to the Kajiado Referral Hospital for a Medical examination.
High Court in May dismissed a Petition that sought to quash sections 162 and 165 of the Penal Code. The law states that; “Any person who - (a) has carnal knowledge of any person against the order of nature; or (b) has carnal knowledge of an animal; or (c) permits a male person to have carnal knowledge of him or her against the order of nature, is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for fourteen years."
