Former Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri has taken a swipe at President Uhuru Kenyatta over his succession in 2022.
Speaking when he accompanied Deputy President William Ruto to Kiambu on Wednesday, Kiunjuri said that it is not fair for the President to direct the leaders from Mt Kenya on who they should associate with.
He expressed his discontentment over the handshake between Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
"Wacha watu wazungumuze (let people talk)... If Jesus had a conversation with a mad man...who are you not to have a conversation with other Kenyans?... How can you tell us to build bridges and you want to demolish others?" he posed.
Uhuru sacked Kiunjuri during a State of the Nation address earlier this month.
In his speech after the sack, Kiunjuri promised to continue with his good work outside government.
He also thanked the President for the support he had accorded him when he was serving in the docket.
