He says that thanks to President Uhuru Kenyatta's truce with ODM leader Raila Odinga in March 2018, the community is now fully included in the government unlike before.

He cites President Uhuru Kenyatta's decision to allegedly hand Luo community two powerful ministries in his cabinet; Foreign Affairs and Education through Raychelle Omamo and George Magoha.

"Take a look in Jubilee, those who never voted for the government like Luos now have two powerful ministries. Those who were just watching are the ones now eating chucks (Angalia Jubilee, wale ambao hawakuipigia kura kama Wajaluo wako na wizara mbili kubwa, wale waliokuwa wanameza mate ndio sasa wanakula minofu)," he said.

He made the remarks in an interview on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi on Saturday morning, also attended by Thirdway Alliance Secretary General Frederick Okango.

Mwaura remarked that the changes have also brought with them victims, in reference to Deputy President William Ruto's allies.

He claimed that the woes of the DP and team have been worsened by their decision to be on the opposite side with the president in the constitutional amendment push, urging them to join and question the BBI from inside.

"Ni vyema wale wametupwa nje nao wakae pale mambo inapikwa (it would be better for the those that have been thrown out to stick where the arrangements are being made), inclusion doesn't mean acceptance," he added.

Apart from the two ministries, the region also boasts of Raphael Tuju (CS without portfolio).
