They demanded that the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) take action and seek treatment for the ailing animal.

The photo went viral after it was shared on Twitter by Odeo Sirari who asked KWS to treat the Giraffe.

“This giraffe at the Lake Nakuru National Park needs treatment. Its a Rothschild's giraffe, one of the most endangered species in the world,” tweeted Sirari.

Kenyans on Twitter lashed out at KWS demanding that they take immediate action to treat the ailing Giraffe.

A section of Kenyans online wondered why action has not been taken yet it is the job of KWS officers to spot ailing animals and ensure they receive treatment.

KWS in response to the tweet by Sirari said, “Hi Odeo, Thank you for the notification. We have taken note and escalated to our vet team.”
