In the interview, the woman rep, who returned to Kenya on Monday from Canada where she attended a women empowerment forum, she claimed that Sonko sold diaspora votes to him and Waititu.

Passaris said the agreement struck earlier with Sonko was to have her have all the diaspora votes only for her to realise that they had also been sold to Waititu.

"The governor wronged me. He told me he would bring me the diaspora votes only for me to realise that he had sold them to Waititu. There was a game that he was playing here," Esther Passaris told Alex Mwakideu and Jalang'o.

The Nairobi Woman Rep said that she had paid Sonko for the use of his matatus that were to be used for the transportation of the diaspora voters.

Esther Passaris revelations add more layers to the ongoing tiff between her and the governor.

Tension began during the Madaraka Day celebrations that saw the two leaders trade harsh words and Passaris walk out after coming under attack from Sonko.
