Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has played an immense role in the fight to change the lives of Kenyans since he entered the political arena several decades ago.
Kalonzo said he advised former President Mwai Kibaki to embrace the idea for the sake of changing the common "mwananchi's" life.
The Wiper leader said he felt education was among the strong pillars of economic development hence the need to make it free.
Before the August 8, 2017, general elections, Kalonzo told off the Jubilee regime against boasting about the free education idea.
He accused the Jubilee government of riding on his ideologies in the quest to retain power during that time.
“Most of the programmes that Jubilee government is claiming as its own, including the free and compulsory primary education were my brainchild while in Kibaki's government. We will do more if NASA wins the election,” Kalonzo said.
The Kamba political kingpin has now shown his interest in the nation’s top post.
Kalonzo believes he is the right man to change the nation if elected president.
