Kisumu Woman Representative Rosa Buyu has weighed in on Chief Justice David Maraga's rant against the executive on Monday.
Addressing the media on Monday, the CJ alleged mistreatment by the executive, claiming his office is not accorded the respect it deserves.
Speaking on Tuesday, Buyu called for a keen look into the complaints, terming the CJ a patient man.
However, she noted that while he might have been angry, there was dire need for him to embrace a better avenue to raise her complains, as the rent was not the best way.
"CJ Maraga strikes me as a very patient man. If he has come out now, maybe there is need to look at the Judiciary. Even if he was angry, I think he should have chosen another channel to address issues raised," she said on Citizen TV.
Regarding the CJ's remark on not being acknowledged by the master of ceremony during the last Mashujaa Day celebrations, Buyu said the event was poorly organised.
"I was there on Mashujaa Day and I can say there was protocol challenges even for MPs. I think protocol people need to be alert because the public may get the wrong message," she added.
Maraga's lamentations come at a time when the judiciary is dealing with reduced funds, which has also been blamed on the executive.
