The media has been awash with reports that the relationship between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto is wanting.
The rumor mill has been having it that after President Kenyatta secured a second term, he changed and no longer considers his deputy as a crucial political partner like it was in 2013.
Instances such as calling Ruto huyu kijana anatangatanga kila pahali, referring to him as 'huyu' and an impression that the President is closer to Raila than to Ruto after the March 9 handshake has not gone down well with the hustler's supporters.
But it seems people are reading too much and the two are still great buddies.
